Yesterday I actually saw a pair of woodducks checking out the tree right in front of the house! They are there again this morning. How lucky would I be if they nested out there? Sounds like a nice walk, I like the google map, I'll have to try that out for our bike rides. I love the ebird site. I'm siging up today. Thanks.

Wood ducks in your own trees would be awesome. The eBird site is great -- plus the data you enter is used for science as well which is really a nice addition. My sister discovered the google maps thing -- it's great!
