What a difference a week makes, eh? Snow is rare in our neck of the woods but we got a good blast of it this morning. By mid-afternoon, I guess it was GONE but still it was a fun way to start the day. I walked into the kitchen to make my coffee and thought, "Wow, that rain sure is heavy . . . and white." What can I say, it was early in the AM. I woke up Mr Wonderful and the Boy Wonder (The Princess was at a sleepover in another town and missed it!). So fun!
Here is my gorgeous maple tree dressed for winter . . .
Then I headed off for a day of shopping with my sister. $200 to spend and then another $125 on Mervyn's gift cards. WOOOO-HOOOOO!
Is there ANYTHING more satisfying than a closet full of new clothes to wear?
Maybe knowing that I already have an outfit all picked out to wear . . .
It may not look exciting but it's a GORGEOUS outfit -- super soft moss green cords with a beautiful Ann Taylor sweater -- a cami for underneath and new socks. WOW! Maybe I'll even manage makeup tomorrow morning as well! That would be a shocker! :)
OOh lovely pictures! Well of the snow anyway grin We also had snow down to what looked like 500 feet altitude (well I'm exaggerating). Gorgeous snow tipped mountains in the morning, alas all melted already.
